BDO Sunderbani visits Nallah Makol Panchayat, reviews development works

SUNDERBANI, Oct 17: A team from Rural Development Department (RDD), Block Sunderbani today visited Nallah Makol Panchayat area and took stock of undergoing developmental works being tendered during Back to Village programme.
District Level Officer, Village Level Workers Nobat Ram and Surinder Singh, Junior Engineer Technical Wing Rakesh Raina were also present on the occasion.
of Block Development Officer (BDO) Sunderbani Vikas Sharma assured the people that the pace of development works in every nook and corner of the Panchayat will be expedited.
He said the Panchayati Raj Institution has been playing an important role in the planning, implementation and monitoring of the programmes of government for the welfare of the general masses.
He said that Panchayati Raj institutions are directly connected with the people due to which they can take care of people’s problems and provide solutions as well. He asked everyone to contact him to highlight the issues to the Panchayat so that he would resolve it in time. Block Development Council (BDC) Chairperson, Arun Kumar Sharma was also present on the occasion and interacted with the residents.
“I feel very happy to know that the BDO Vikas Sharma is continuously working to strengthen the democratic system despite so many challenges due to the corona pandemic,” he said.
The BDC Chairman also assured the residents that their issues will be redressed as soon as possible.
The BDC Chairman also discussed with the locals the forthcoming projects for the Panchayat and informed them that multiple numbers of developmental works are in pipeline and after their execution the scenario of the Panchayat will change for good.
Arun Kumar Sharma appealed to the residents to coordinate with the administration and keep a check on the developmental works carried out in their areas. He also asked the officials and contractors for timely completion of the works with the use of standard material.
