| Online Intercollegiate Essay Writing Competition organized | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 20: An online Intercollegiate Essay Writing Competition was organized by NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College, R. S. Pura, as a part of ongoing cleanliness campaign under Clean India Program, an initiative of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, under the patronage of worthy Principal, Prof. Sunil Uppal and supervision of Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Program Officer. The theme of the competition was “What Can I Do To Make My City Clean”. A number of students from various Degree Colleges participated in the online competition with full enthusiasm and wrote worth reading and engrossing essays . Riya Kaw of Govt. Degree College, Paloura secured first position, Aastha and Gayatri Devi of Govt. Degree College, R. S. Pura secured second and third position respectively. E–certificates were given to the winners of the competition. Principal of the college appreciated the hard work of the NSS unit and applauded the efforts of all the participants.
