| Police arrests bootlegger, 1130 bottles of illicit liquor seized | | |  Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Oct 20: Police detained a bootlegger at Hasti in Kishtwar area. As per the details available with Early Times a special police team under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police headquarters Kishtwar Satish Kumar laid a special naka at Hasti Kishtwar.
During checking police intercepted one vehicle Mahindra Pickup bearing registration number JK17-6857 and on search of such vehicle 1130 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered.
The arrested person was identified as Mudassar Hussain S/O Sher Mohammad R/O Tippri tehsil Thatri Doda and one more person who managed to escape from spot is involved and search for his arrest is under way.
Police has registered case FIR No. 234/2021 under section 48 (a) Excise Act in Police Station Kishtwar and investigation into the case is going on. |
