| Oral health check-up camp organized at Omkar Singh Charitable Hospital Bishnah | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 20: An oral health check-up was organized at Omkar Singh Charitable Hospital, Bishnah by Institute of Dental Sciences, Sehora, in collaboration with NGO namely Seva Foundation.
The camp aimed for creating awareness among the masses on the importance of oral hygiene and the problems that people may face if oral health is not maintained.
Various doctors were present during the camp in which the interns of the hospital also prepared a presentation on the “Oral Health Education” which was demonstrated, followed by Oral Health Check-up of patients.
Patients were taught the basics of oral hygiene, about proper brushing techniques and the importance of various mouth washes.
Also awareness about ill effects of tobacco chewing and smoking was showcased. The health check-up was organised under the supervision of Dr. Esha Bali, HOD Dept of PHD accompanied by Dr. Kamaljeet, Dr. Gurdeep, Vikas Pandita (founder Sewa Foundation) along with the intern Tusharika Sharma.
