BJP finalizes arrangements for Amit Shah’s visit, Prem Nath Dogra’s birth anniversary | | | JAMMU, Oct 20: The BJP today convened a meeting at Party’s Headquarters in connection with forthcoming visit of Home Minister Amit Shah on October 24. The meeting was organized by Rakesh Mahajan, Convener, All Cells, BJP J&K and it was presided over by Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization) J&K. Convener and co-convener of all cells and members of state executive body were present in the meeting. During the meeting, various issues related to upcoming visit of Amit Shah, celebration of birth anniversary of Pandit Prem Nath Dogra as Sports Day and celebration of 100 crore vaccination of Covid-19 across the country were discussed threadbare. Koul said that the visit of Home Minister will redouble the enthusiasm among the party cadre as he is coming for the first time after the nullification of Articles 35-A and 370. He said that this the first public rally of Shah and the same will surely a long sought event by the party activists and common masses. He said that the occasion will give ample space to the party workers to know more about the party ideology and groom themselves to become resolute public representatives in the coming times. Mahajan in his address said that BJP is working on a mission mode regarding the overall development of Jammu & Kashmir. He welcomed the decision of J&K government and central government for allowing Mahajan, Sikh and Khatri communities to purchase and sell agricultural land in Jammu & Kashmir. |
