| Terror plot foiled by Police, one Person arrested with hand grenade | | |  Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Oct. 20: Based on the inputs about inimical elements planning to cause disturbance through handlers to carry out grenade blast in Kishtwar district.
As per the details available with Early Times, a Joint Naka was established by a team of Kishtwar Police, Army 26 RR and CRPF 52 Bn personnel at Drabshalla Thathri at 1730 hours.
During search of vehicles and passengers, the Naka party noticed a suspicious movement of one person who was trying to evade checking/frisking.
However, alert Jawans of Naka party immediately overpowered him and on frisking/personal search one hand grenade recovered from his possession.
The arrested person has been identified as Sohail Ahmed Bhat S/O Noor Mohd Bhat R/O Bathri Gandoh Distt Doda.
In this regard case FIR No.235/2021
Under relevent sections of law has been registered at PS Kishtwar and further investigation taken up. |
