DC Kishtwar chairs DLIC meeting to discuss modalities for e-Shram registration

KISHTWAR, Oct 27: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today chaired the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) meeting here at conference Hall New DC Office Complex Kishtwar and discussed the modalities for e-Shram registration of unorganized workers.
BDC chairpersons, GM DIC Khalid Hussain Malik, DSWO Kishtwar Tariq Parveaz Qazi, Chief Medical Officer Dr R S Manhass, CEO Kishtwar Rashpal Chauhan, Chief Agriculture Officer Kishtwar Satish Kumar, EO MC Kishtwar Tariq Balwan, ALC Kishtwar Amit Kumar besides BDOs and officers of CSC remained present in the meeting.
During the meeting the DLIC members were asked to make all out efforts to conduct the IEC activities to ensure the cent-percent registration of all the unorganized labourers/workers at the e-Shram portal in the district on mission mode basis.
ALC Kishtwar, EO MC Kishtwar, CAO, BDOs were asked to work in tandem to identify the unorganized labourers and register them under newly rolled out e-shram portal, the registration for which has started from 26-08-2021.
In the meeting the modalities for the registration of labourers were also discussed threadbare.
PRI members were asked to spread the education about the scheme at grass root level so that the benefits of the scheme could be percolated down the ground level.
During the meeting DC Kishtwar said that the aim of this process is to collect the information of the core unorganized workers of the unorganized sector by the Government of India and by aggregating the database of all the laborers at one place.
He further added that Under this, the e-Shram Card will be issued by the government after E Shram Card Registration and any labourer will be able to get the benefits of the schemes directly and the government will also take different steps, whatever they will have the database of workers.
