| DLSA Udhampur holds awareness events on Right to Education | | |

UDHAMPUR, Nov 1: District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur under the guidance of its Chairman and overall supervision of Secretary, Rajni Sharma (Sub-Judge) organised a campaign to promote "Right to Education & ensuring 100% enrolment of children in Schools", here today.
The aim of the Programme, held in connection with the Pan India awareness campaign, was to raise awareness about the Right to Education Guaranteed under Article 21 A of the Constitution of India. Two programmes were held in Physical Mode on the subject at Government Model Girls Hr. Secondary School, Udhampur and Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School Udhampur.
The Resource Persons of the Programme were Panel Lawyers Advocate Sanjeet Kumar, Advocate Aakash Sanmotra, Advocate Nikhileshwar Singh and Advocate Mallikarjun Singh Slathia.
The resource persons highlighted the issues faced by the Children. The Principal of the schools Nasib Singh and R.S Slathia, along with the school staff and students attended the Programme. The Secretary DLSA, while thanking the students and the staff, threw light on the Rights of the Children in the society and stressed upon the need to safeguard all basic rights which are vital to a human life especially to Children. |
