| Police arrests 2 drug Peddlers, recoveres 10 kg poppy straw | | |

Srinagar, Nov 1: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband from their possession, a Police spokesman said.
He said during a routine checking at Kanipora Shopian in south Kashmir police intercepted two persons identified as Waseem Ahmad Bati and Muzamil Ahmad Janjua residents of Saaj Thanamandi in Rajouri district of Jammu division.
On being frisked the police recovered 10 kgs of Poppy straw from their possession, the spokesman said and added both were arrested and lodged into the police station.
Further investigation is going on. |
