| Degree College organizes Webinar on vigilance awareness week | | |

Jammu, Nov 1: Government Degree College Surankote in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir Police organized a webinar on the theme, “Independent India at 75; Self-Reliance with Integrity”.
The proceeding of the program was conducted by Dr. Naseer Ahmed Kalis, Head Department of Political Science.
He welcomed the participants and the resource person and an integrity pledge was administered with the aim to work together to eradicate corruption.
Sunny Gupta, DYSP Vigilance, Jammu was the resource person. He delivered lecture on the multiple facets, reasons and causes of corruption.
He said, there is a need to promote education, moral values, accountability, participatory vigilance to keep the society away from corruption and corrupt practices. A large number of students, faculty members and joined and got the valuable information.
Dr. Jasbir Singh, Principal, Government Degree College Surankote, appreciated the organizer and thanked the resource person for such a wonderful event. He also spoke at length about the ill effects of corruption. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Reshi, Head Department of Urdu extended the formal vote of thanks. |
