| Councillor Anu Bali lays foundation stone of community hall in Ward 24 | | |

JAMMU, Nov 2: Councillor Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Anu Bali laid the foundation stone for the construction of community hall in Ward No 24.
The foundation stone laying ceremony was done by the Anu Bali along with RT. REV. Ivan Periera (Bishop of JK) in the presence of Fr S. Mascarenhas Sfx, Principle St Mary Presentation School Gandhi Nagar Jammu, Satpal, Ashu Peter Mattoo, Masih Sunny Khokhar, Naveen Bali and Chandan Data.
Speaking on the occasion, Anu Bali said that today we have laid the foundation stone for the construction of Community hall which will be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 50 lakhs.
She further said that it was a long pending demand of the people of the Christian Community of Ward No 24 and now will be completed after the construction of community hall so that the people of the Christian Community can perform their religious gatherings and rituals here.
The people of the Christian Community thanked the Councillor Ward 24 Anu Bali for considering their submission and making efforts for helping the community and also by setting a great example in the society by helping the needful. “She has given a clear message to help and serve the people”, they said. |
