| Councillor Kapahi kick starts blacktopping work in Ward14 | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 2: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor Parmodh Kapahi kick started blacktopping work at Ward No 14 Bhagwati Nagar today.
The blacktopping work was inaugurated by Parmodh Kapahi in presence of prominent citizens of Ward 14. The total cost of project is Rs 28 lakhs covering all the major lanes of Ward No 14. Later, Kapahi along with AEE and JE also visited Ward 19 and its surrounding localities, met with the locals, who put forth various issues of public importance such as construction/renovation of lanes and drains, blacktopping of the main roads as well as interior lanes, etc. Kapahi gave them a patient hearing and assured them that all their genuine demands be redressed in a time-bound manner. He said that the development works going on in adjoining area in Ward No 14 is already being completed at a fast pace with the cooperation of AEE & JE and also due to the support of the local people of the area. The people thanked Amit Gupta, AEE and JE for listening to the issues regarding developmental works whether it was lanes, drains or roads and for ensuring that all the pending developmental work of the ward will be completed soon. |
