All India Cooperative Week celebrations from Nov 14 | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 2: The management of J&K Cooperative Union Ltd held a meeting regarding the celebration of Cooperative Week which is notified by the National Cooperative Union of India. Rajesh Kumar Sharma chaired the meeting of the Board of Management of J&K Cooperative Union Ltd regarding celebration from Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies level to Apex level in three regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh for which the past practice adopted and circulated. During the meeting Sharma held threadbare discussions on various issues regarding the promotion and strengthening of the cooperative movement in the changing scenario. Sharma in his address apprised the prominent cooperators that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created a full-fledged Cooperative Ministry and on this historical step Sharma congratulated him besides it was praiseworthy step that the portfolio of cooperation sector was handed over to Amit Shah, a revolutionary initiative in strengthening the cooperative movement. Sharma further expressed that it is the need of the hour to promote primary Agriculture Societies which are back bone of the cooperative movement giving door steps employment and tapping the local potential. So far Jammu & Kashmir Cooperative Unions Limited role is concerned this is prestigious Institution of the cooperative movement having well trained elected leadership which are working voluntarily for strengthening of the movement though since long, he added. Rajesh Sharma, Chairman J&K Cooperative Union Ltd thanked the participants for sparing their valuable moments before the commencement of 68th All India Cooperative Week celebration. On this occasion all ups and downs related with the cooperative activities discussed in a very cordial atmosphere and the entire fraternity expressed full faith in the leadership of Sharma. |
