JKTJAC demands release of NPS salary, submits memorandum to LG | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 2: Jammu Kashmir Teachers' Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) today submitted memorandums to LG through respective District Development Commissioners at all the district headquarters regarding the release of pending two months' salary of NPS employees mostly of Education Department who are suffering during festive season. The memorandums were submitted by respective District Presidents of JKTJAC in presence of other senior leaders. After submitting memorandum UT President Vinod Sharma said that it's a matter of great concern that thousands of NPS employees are without salary for last two months and suffering badly during the festive season. He appealed the LG Administration to intervene in this matter for releasing the adequate grants under Head 2071 so that the families of these employees may not suffer. He demanded the immediate release of said salary before Diwali for the welfare of thousands of employees. He further said that they will be forced to protest for the release of the salary after Diwali if same is not released by then. The memorandums served at district headquarters by UT president Vinod Sharma, General Secretary Najam Jafri, Provincial President Rajesh Jamwal, Manzoor Khan DP Rajouri, Lekh Raj Parihar DP Udhampur, Sajad Malik DP Doda, Hari Lal Nag DP Ramban, Rakesh Singh DP Kathua, Arvind Sharma Chief Advisor, Mahesh Kumar Spokesperson, Balwan Singh DP Reasi, Ravinder Singh, Subash Chander, Sham Sharma and others.
