YCET faculty delivers Talk in Technical Symposium "POWERGLITZ-2021" | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 2: Further, strengthening the motto "Where excellence is just the beginning", the faculty member of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET), Er Loveneesh Talwar, HOD (Electrical Engineering) has been invited as a Guest Speaker and chair of the Technical Session of paper presentation in national level technical symposium POWERGLITZ-2021. The event was organized by Er Perumal Manimekalai College of Engineering in association with IEEE, held on the topic "Save Energy for Future Generation". Energy conservation is the effort made to reduce the consumption of energy by using less of an energy service. This can be achieved either by using energy more efficiently or by reducing the amount of service used. Energy conservation is a part of the concept of Eco-sufficiency. Energy is of two types Conventional and Non-conventional but as the time passes by, the generation rate of electricity is very low compared to our consumption rate. The session was interactive and the queries raised by audience were also addressed by Er Loveneesh Talwar. The talk ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr Kalaiselvan, Asstt Professsor Department of EEE, Er Perumal Manimekalai College of Engineering. In the end, Er Loveneesh Talwar thanked G Shasikala, Head of Department EEE and Dr S Chitra, Principal Er Perumal Manimekalai College of Engineering for inviting him as a Speaker and Chair of the Technical Session for Paper Presentation. He also mentioned the immense gratitude for the management of YCET and for Prof (Dr) AK Srivatsva (Director YCET). |
