GHRT organizes blood donation camp at GMC Jammu | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 2: Global Human Rights Trust (GHRT) international ISO certified organization, organized a Blood Donation Camp at Government Medical College Jammu. The chief Guest on this occasion was Karan Kaura "Mr India winner 2021 " Talking on the event, Karan Kaura said, "Blood donation is an indispensable part of medical services. Each second, somebody on the planet needs blood. A huge number of individuals owe their lives to individuals they won't ever meet - individuals who give their blood openly and with practically no reward." Global Human Rights trust is working tirelessly throughout India in every fields for the welfare of society. Lots of step were taken by GHRT to promote peace, Good governance and drive compain of cleanly environment, anti Drugs, illegal selling of liquor, corruption etc. Whole day was abuzz with young donors, mainly girls who looked happy to be able to lend a helping hand to the society. 432 units of blood had been collected in the camp. Speaking on this occasion, Dr HR Rehman Chairman of GHRT said that, "All donors were screened before donation of blood. They were asked whether they had any contact with COVID-19 positive patients or any travel history. It was ensured that all had face masks and washed their hands before donating blood". "Every person should come forward to donate blood, this step will help to save the life of many poor and others," Sanjeev Singh, Gen. Secretary GHRT said. Parmjeet Singh, Secretary GHRT India , said that , "In today's scenario, only 50 percent of the country's blood requirement is fulfilled through such blood donation camps. Hence, there is a need to create awareness amongst our youth for active participation in such a noble cause." |
