| GDC Pouni celebrates "Rashtriya Ekta Diwas" | | |

REASI, Nov 2: Government Degree College (GDC) Pouni, Reasi commemorated the 146th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbahi Patel (Iron Man of India) as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on under the guidance and patronage of Principal Prof Rajni Bhagat. On this occasion, a pledge taking ceremony was organized by NSS volunteers of the college under the guidance of Prof Balbir Kumar, NSS Officer, Dr Tarseem Kumar, Prof Jaspal Singh, Prof Bindu Sharma and Suresh Kumar.
All staff and the students took pledge to preserve and strengthen the unity, integrity and security of the country and to follow his strong values of a great statesman, a true nationalist leader of all time. Principal Prof Rajni addressed the students and emphasized that students should imbibe in their personalities' the values of Sardar Vallabhbahi Patel. The programme concluded with vote of thanks delivered by Prof Bindu Sharma. |
