| GDC Thannamandi organizes lecture on Sardar Patel | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Nov 2: In continuation to the celebrations of National Unity Day, Govt Degree College (GDC) Thannamandi, Department of Geography organized an Extension Lecture.
Dr Khalid Rayaz, Head Department of Geography presented his extension lecture on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.
Dr Rayaz said that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was instrumental in uniting the country post independence of India. The lecture was attended by large numbers of students, faculty and staff members of the college. The extension lecture was organized under patronage of Prof (Dr) Javaid Ahmed Qazi, Principal of the College. The proceeding of the programme was conducted by Prof Ajaz Ahmed, HoD Physics while the vote of thanks was presented by Fatima Qazi, HoD Political Science.
The prominent present on the occasion were Prof Madaser Majeed, HoD Islamic Studies, Prof Tahir Nadeem, HoD Applied Mathematics, Dr Shokit Ali, HoD Urdu, Dr Madadis Kariem, HoD Chemistry, Waqar Gorsi Chief Librarian and various others. |
