| One non-local dies of asphyxiation, 2 unconscious in Kashmir | | |

SRINAGAR, Nov 2: A non local labourer on Tuesday died while two others are undergoing treatment in hospital in south Kashmir district of Shopian. Official sources said, three persons, two of them from Uttar Pradesh who were staying in a rented room were found in a state of unconsciousness. They said all the three were shifted to a nearby hospital where one Ansar Ahmad from Uttar Pradesh (UP) was declared dead. The two others have been identified as Azim Jan from UP and Ubaid Bashir, a local from village Nagbal Shopian. Sources said all three were working at a local workshop. Sources said, the cause due to which the non local died seems to be by asphyxiation. Police have started investigations, the sources added. |
