JAMMU, Nov 10: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor Anil Kumar Masoom on Wednesday kick started drain works at Kachi Chawni in Ward No 10 at the cost of Rs 4 lakh. Speaking on the occasion, Councillor Anil Kumar Masoom appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate with Jammu Municipal Corporation in various development works undertaken by it within Jammu city.
He urged upon the residents to avoid using single use plastic, polythene and not to throw debris, garbage etc in drains, lanes and nallahs.
He also appealed the people to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean, green and beautiful city.
Local residents including Parveen Kerni, Vishaw Partap Singh, Anita Gandotra, Sudhir Anand, Subash Anand, Rahul Pardhan, Nipun Malhotra, Tarun, Vinay Chopra, Ajeet Yogi, Rahul Kumar and Miky were present on the occasion. |
