| Darakhshan Andrabi holds meeting with Karnataka Minister for Haj & Auqaf | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 11: Chairperson of Waqf Development Committee of Union Ministry of Minority Affairs Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today met Karnataka Minister for Haj & Auqaf Shashikala Annasaheb Jolle at Vikas Saundha in Bangalore.
Dr Andrabi submitted the proposal of fencing all the properties, lands and shrines throughout the state. She said that encroachment and grabbing of Waqf properties throughout India can be checked by fencing the Waqf land & its properties. "I have submitted the proposal to Ministry of Minority Affairs also where from it will be issued for implementation at State & UT levels. Politicians, land grabbers and revenue embezzlements of Waqf properties in India during past seven decades has been stopped & demarcation & fencing the properties will stop any further grabbing of land," said Dr Andrabi. |
