JAMMU, Nov 11: The Gopashtami festival was celebrated with reverence and gaiety at the holy shrine Sohanjana Gaushala. Special Goumata (cow) worship was done by Shri Gangadhar Ji Maharaj. A large number of cow devotees participated in the worship. A cow that does not give milk, an accidental and an old cow is kept in the Gaushala. Addressing the journalists, Shri Gangadhar Ji Maharaj said that Gau Mata Bhagwati is the form of the earth. Gaumata is the mother of the whole world, of the entire universe. All the deities are seated in the cow. The cow mother is omnipotent. He wished the whole world a very Happy Gopashtami. |
