| Gurmeet Randhawa starts deep drain work at Sainik Colony | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 13: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councilor Gurmeet Kour Randhawa has started deep drain work with estimated cost of twenty-three lakhs at Sector C of Sainik Colony. Construction of shops and malls along the national highway chokes all water outlets to the Sunjwan Nallah and this resulted in flooding of houses of Sector C of Sainik Colony.
Gurmeet urged the residents to avoid using single use plastic which chokes the drains resulting in overflow of the same. She also called upon residents to follow the guidelines issued by the government against dengue. Daleep Singh, a prominent resident of the ward while speaking on the occasion highlighted that the councilor has left no stone unturned to ensure better amenities for the residents of the colony. |
