JKHCBA holds protest, highlights demands | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 13: J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu under the leadership of its President M.K. Bhardwaj, Sr. Adv. held a protest Dharna in the District Court Complex, Janipur, Jammu wherein all the office bearers namely S. Mohinder Pal Singh Pali, Vice President, Surjeet Singh Andotra, General Secretary, Aditya Sharma, Joint Secretary & S. Amandeep Singh, Treasure besides many senior & young lawyers participated in the Dharna protest in support of their demands viz-a-viz: seeking revocation of the order of shifting of Debt Recovery Tribunal to Chandigarh . Creation of Five Benches of the Central Administrative Tribunal in the U.T. of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh for the smooth functioning and also raised the demand for shifting of the CAT Bench in the court premises Jammu. For Restoration of physical hearing of Central Administrative Tribunal Bench. Shifting of Sub Registrar offices in Court premises. Establishment of Consumer Forums in the Court premises. Establishment of Consumer Commission and Human Rights Commission. Bhardwaj, while addressing the protest Dharna, urged upon the Government to immediately resolve all the above mentioned demands/issues of the legal fraternity of U.T. of J&K , so as to give relief to the legal fraternity as well as civil society .In the event of failure to do the needful, the JKHCBA, Jammu, shall be left with no other option except to launch an agitation in support of their demands. |
