| GDC Ramgarh conducts special COVID-19 vaccination drive | | |

SAMBA, Nov 13: In order to prevent the third wave and put an end to the COVID-19 pandemic, GDC Ramgarh organized a special COVID-19 vaccination drive for the staff and eligible students in its campus. The vaccination drive was carried out under the supervision of Dr Lakhwinder Singh, Block Medical Officer Ramgarh, Samba and Dr Meeru Abrol, Principal, GDC Ramgarh. Dr Hari Slathia, BAMS, Health and Wellness Centre, Swankha led her team for the vaccination drive. Eligible students of Semester I received their first dose of vaccination while students of Semester II and III received their second dose of vaccination.
It is mandatory for the staff and the students to go for the COVID-19 vaccination before the commencement of the class work in the colleges. COVID-19 vaccination will help save lives, stabilize health systems and drive economic recovery, but COVID-19 appropriate behaviour and core public health measures-Detect, Test, Trace, Isolate and Treat will have to continue till the pandemic is over. The overall process of vaccination was carried out with the cooperation of staff members both teaching and non-teaching following COVID-19 appropriate behaviour. |
