| World Diabetes day celebrated at SSH | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 13: World diabetes day was celebrated at Super Specialty Hospital Jammu on Saturday. During the event, a Diabetes screening and awareness camp was organized for the general public which was inaugurated by Dr.Shashi Soodan Sharma, Principal & Dean Govt. Medical College Jammu. More than 150 patients were screened and counseled for Diabetes Mellitus. It is pertinent to here that World Diabetes day is observed on 14 November every year. During the event, a lecturer on Diabetes Education was delivered by Dr.Suman Kotwal, Consultant Department of Endocrinology. He gave a message all regarding healthy lifestyle and dietary practice. Dr. Manoj Chalotra Medical Superintendent, Super Speciality Hospital Jammu in his opening remarks mentioned the importance of holistic approach in Diabetes management. Dr. Harjeet Rai Deputy Medical Superintendent, Super Speciality Hospital Jammu presented vote of thanks.
