Sunrise Public School celebrates Children's Day | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 13: To make the children feel special this year, the teachers of Sunrise Public School, Channi Himmat celebrated Children's Day today in the community area with full zeal and zest. The formal programme started in the morning with a calming mindfulness session. It was followed by colourful program which included poems by Maya and Ram Devi of Class 6th. Apart from this Kiran of class 3rd sang solo songs of regional Indian languages. Besides, there was a Fun Quiz taken by the Director Manpreet kour which the children enjoyed and laughed their hearts out. To conclude the programme our founder Rajesh Sharma greeted the students on the occasion and reminded them to be grateful and give a thought to the countless children who are homeless, underprivileged, deprived, exploited or living in war torn areas and press was released issued by the school. Apart from this, to increase the political knowledge of the students, a mock parliament was demonstrated through which the senior school students enacted the proceedings of the parliament such as the meaning of leadership, debates and discussions on various topics related to national issues. |
