| GMC Jammu organizes Prize distribution ceremony | | |

JAMMU, Nov 13: As a part of celebraation of Golden Jubilee of Government Medical College Jammu along with Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, students’ sports committee organized a week long sports meet in month of October and the winners were felicitated in a colorful awards ceremony in the Auditorium of GMC Jammu today.
In a week long sports meet a total of 650 students had participated in 21 events (boys 11 and girls 10 events). The winners were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals for single, double and team events separately.
The prizes were given away to winners by Dr. Shashi Sudan Sharma, Principal and Dean GMC Jammu, who said that sports participation is very important to inculcate discipline, sportsmanship and for overall development of the personality of the students. The awardees included undergraduate and postgraduate students. |
