Duggar Sahitya Mandal Akhnoor organised a Multilingual Kavi Sammelan

Jammu, Nov 15: A multilingual Kavi Sammelan was organised by Duggar Sahitya Mandal Akhnoor today at Tourist Reception Center Akhnoor.
The event was organised under the presidentship of Bharat Bhushan Sharma in which SSP, Dy. Director Indoor Mohan Lal Bhagat JKPS was the Chief Guest whereas social activists Poonam Sharma and Ashok Kumar were the Guest of Honors. Mohan Singh Jamwal, Jugal Channan, Ashok Sehar and Rishi Kumar were the coordinates of the Kavi Sammelan.
Renowned Stage Actor and Dogri Promotor Mohan Singh Jamwal presided over the proceedings of the event.
Number of renowned poets and writers from the town including Virender Mishra, OP Deepak, Rattan Bhardwaj, OP Shakir, Renu Sharma, Mohan Bharti, Ravinder Magotra entertained the audience completely with their compositions. Media Persons belonging to Print and Electronic media were also felicitated during the event. Poets and Writers were also awarded by the guests present on the occasion.
SSP Mohan Lal Bhagat in his address during the Kavi Sammelan appreciated Duggar Sahitya Mandal Akhnoor for organising such an event which provided a platform to the poets and writers of Akhnoor to present their melodious compositions. He said that there was a crystal clear and positive message in each composition recited today.
He said he feels very blessed to listen to such resourceful personalities. He said that patriotism in their poems will inspire upcoming generation’s for nation building also. He assured his full support for exploring the cultural and linguistic talent of Akhnoor. Jugal Chanan presented the vote of thanks. Roshan Bral, President Dogri Bhasha Academy, Ashwani Sharma Sarpanch, Amit Gupta, Anu Manhas, Adarsh Bakshi were also present during the event.
