| GDC Basohli clinches 1gold, three bronze medals in boxing | | |

BASOHLI, Nov 17: The students of GDC Basohli participated in the Inter-College Boxing tournament organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu. Mona Thakur of BA Semester III won the gold medal in category of 66 Kg. While Mitalee Billawaria of B.Sc Semester I won the bronze medal in the category of 57 Kg, Sakshi Jamwal of BA Semester III won the bronze medal in the category of 50 kg and Mansi Jamwal of BA Semester I won the bronze medal in the category of 52 Kg. Dr Nidhi Kotwal, Principal of the college, Dr Gotam Singh, Convener, Sports Committee and Sandeep Sharma, PTI, congratulated the students for bringing laurels to the college and encouraged them to actively participate in other sports activities as well. |
