Railway Child help desk Jammu conducted rally at Jammu Railway Station

JAMMU, Nov 19: The Railway Child Help Desk Jammu conducted a child rally at railway station Jammu under the programme Childline Se Dosti Week in collaboration with GRP, Jammu. Mohd. Arif Rishu Sr. Superintendent of Police (GRP) were the Chief Guest and Mrs. Albeena Malik , Dy. Superintendent of Police (GRP) as Guest of Honour on the occasion.
As per the details available with Early Times, Chief Guest Flags off the rally which rounds about on Matador Stand, Auto, Taxi stands, Railway Station premises and concluded at Police Station, Railway Station, Jammu.
The main objective of the rally to aware the general public as well as all stakeholders that how jointly we can stop the child trafficking in coordinating with GRP. The children carry play cards in their hands with different slogan has been written on the child trafficking and who and how can safe us from the trafficking. Some children also carrying the play cards that what are their rights, say No to child labour, child marriage, what are good touch and bad touch etc.
Worthy Chief Guest Mohd. Arif Rishu SSP GRP appreciated the working of CHD and desired to need to be done more with all the stakeholders for the overall betterment of children in need of care and protection.
Guest of Honour, empathieses on the more awareness programs must be conducted for the child Rights and Child Protection with all stakeholders.
SSP sir, assured the CHD Coordinator along with their team and the general masses that GRP is doing there level best for stop the child trafficking and till date no child trafficking case has been reported in Jammu Railway Station. GRP also closely monitoring about the child rights as well as child protection in and around the Railway Station, Jammu.
The main aim of the CHD CHILDLINE is to provide an awareness about the activities of CHILDLINE, toll free no 1098 of CHILDLINE and how we can provide support the children in need and care round the clock (24*7) with the support of GRP, Railways, Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and other stake holders, travelers etc.
In mass awareness Pamphlets and IEC materials were distributed among the passanger and empathesi that how and why each and every person is important and can provide the support to the children in need and care through Childline Se Dosti week.
