Five matches played on day 2 of Super-7 Cricket Championship

JAMMU, Nov 19: On the second day of ongoing Super-7 Cricket Championship being played at MA Stadium here, five matches were played in which 10 teams from different states and UTs of the country locked horns.
Deputy Mayor Jammu, Poornima Sharma was the chief guest on the 2nd day. Speaking on the occasion, Poornima Sharma said that by organizing such championship especially for the youths of various states of India is a step towards making 'Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat'.
After she tossed the coin matches for the day started. The opening match of the day was won by Jammu & Kashmir team who convincingly trounced their rivals from Himachal Pradesh. Himachal team was all out with only 15 runs in their kitty while batting first. Jammu & Kashmir team chased the target in just 1 over.
The Maharashtra-Karnataka match was won by Maharashtra, who made 44 runs while batting first. In their chasse Karnataka could not achieve the target and lost the match by 3 runs
In Andhra Pradesh Vs UP match, the Andhra team while batting first made only 36 runs and UP chased the target in only 3 overs.
Jharkhand beat Vidharbha in the contest played between the two teams. The losing team Vidharbha was unable to chase the set target of 57 runs in allotted 7 overs as it was bundled out with just 29 runs on the board. Im another contest, Delhi (NCR) won its match against Rajasthan.
