| Repealing of farm laws historic day for farmers: Kundal | | |

VIJAYPUR, Nov 19: Terming the withdrawal of farm laws by the central government as a historic day for the farmers across the country, former minister and senior Panthers Party leader Yashpal Kundal said that there is a wave of happiness among the farm community after the PM's announcement.
Kundal said that for the last one year farmers were protesting against the agriculture law on the border of the country's capital Delhi. He congratulated the farmers for their victory.
Yashpal Kundal said, "Many congratulations to the farmers for the victory of the historic movement. For the first time in history, such a big movement took place, due to which the government had to withdraw these 3 laws. Had this decision been taken earlier, 700 farmers would not have lost their lives. This success of farmers is huge. All three laws were repealed. More than 700 farmers were martyred. Their martyrdom is immortal. The coming generations will remember how the farmers of this country had saved their community by risking their lives. I salute the farmers of my country."
While castigating the BJP, Kundal said, "The government should apologize to all the farmer families who lost their lives due to this movement." |
