| Randhawa felicitates Dr Vishali 'daughter of the soil' | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 19: Former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today felicitated daughter of the soil, Dr. Vishali Sharma, who has managed to reach on 'Hot Seat' of 13th Edition of the Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by superstar of the century Amitabh Bachan.
While speaking on the occasion Randhawa said that the daughters of the soil are now doing commendable job and are bringing laurels to the region and nation as well. He said that gone are the days when the daughters were treated as materials to dump in the houses. He said that a resident of Gadi Garh in Gandhi Nagar assembly segment Dr. Vishali has brought laurel to the area by reaching upto the 'Hot Seat' of the popular television show.
He said that the people should stop discriminating with the girl child as they are now competing with the boys in all fields. He said that daughters are making their parents proud by excelling in academics, sports and many other fields. Citing an example of Dr Vishali Randhawa said that the daughter of the soil had succeeded in doing what the sons of the soil failed in doing. He also urged upon the people to provide quality education to the girl child so that they can compete with the society.
