| Guru Nanak Jayanti celebrated at Kargil | | |  Early Times Report
LEH, Nov 19: The birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev was celebrated with much pomp all around the world. The Sikh community of District Kargil also celebrated the day with full religious fervor and gaiety at Gurdawara Sahib despite sub-zero temperatures. On this auspicious occasion, Ch. Iftkhar Ahmed, Additional SP Kargil, accompanied by Inspector Manzoor Hussain SHO PS Kargil, Mohd Hassan Naib Tehsildar Kargil, Imam Jamia Masjid Hanfia and civil society members of District Kargil attended the function at Gurudawara Sahib Kargil and greeted the Sikh community on the auspicious occasion of Gurupurab/birthday of Guru Nanak Sahib. There were arrangements of langar wherein sweets were distributed to the visitors. Members of Sikh community thanked the visitors on this auspicious occasion. |
