Weeklong CHILDLINE Se Dosti Week Concludes | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 20: On the valedictory day of CHILDLIN Se Dosti week CHILDLINE Jammu organized a painting competition at Bal Ashram and Nari Niketan RS Pura Jammu and told children to draw on black and white of their choice to express their feelings and thoughts so that their mental health can be checked. The competition was followed by awareness on child rights and Good touch and Bad touch and playing of various games. The main motive behind the program is to provide the stage to these children to express their feelings and to motivate them to express their thoughts without hesitation. Childline also invited the child on stage and make them to show their talent or to speak something on any topic of their choice. The main idea behind the activities is to cultivate the children to speak so that they could give rest to their hesitation and put their feet towards success. During the weeklong CSD week which commences form 14th of November; multiple activities were conducted with children on Child rights, child issues and child health. Advocacy and networking was also done with allied partners of Childline was done. Manjari Singh was the chief guest and Judge of the Painting Competition. The program was done in close coordination with District Social Welfare Department and home authorities.
