JAMMU, Nov 20: Government Degree college Pouni organized an Essay writing competition on topic ' Social Relevance of Guru Nanak Dev ji Teaching' on occasssion of Guru Nanak Dev Jayanti. The Competition took place under the supervision and guidance of Principal GDC Pouni Prof.Rajni Bhagat. Incharge career counseling and placement cell Dr. Tarseem Kumar and Prof.Jaspal Singh coordinated the event. Students from the different colleges of Jk UT participated in this event.
Prof.Balbir Kumar and Prof.Bindu Sharma evaluated the entries of Students.
Vishali Sharma of GDC Pouni took first position in this Competition.Suhani and Kavleen Kour secured second Position and Payal slariya took third position.
Among the participated students top three position will be awarded with e-certificate. In her concluding remarks Principal Madam appreciated the efforts of organizing committee for successful management of this Competition. Principal Madam added that it is very important for students and teaching fraternity to know the principles and values given by great spiritual Gurus. |
