Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 20: With an aim to field best team from J&K for forthcoming 11th Hockey India Junior Men National Championship scheduled to be held at Kovilpatti Tamilnadu from 15th to 17th December, four days selection trials was held at Greenfield, Gandinagar Jammu. Large turn out was witnessed, beyond the expectation of the selection committee constituted by the Hockey J&K. The enthusiasm and overwhelming participation for the game by the players thrilled the selection committee. Conclusion of selection cum trails process coaching camp shall be followed by coaching camp to hone the skill set of players. Nuzhat Gull Secretary J&K Sports Council personally monitored the selection trials and passed on the necessary instructions to coaches besides encouraging players. Among others present were Rajinder Singh President Hockey India, Rajeev Sharma President Hockey J&K, Dr Taran Singh General Secretary Hockey J&K, coaches and hockey lovers. |
