| Udhay kick-starts blacktopping work in Dhok Paloura | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 20: Udhay Bhanu Chib, President Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) today kick-started the black topping of main road at Mohalla Dhok Paloura falling in ward 60 of Raipur Domana constituency.
The black topping of this road starting from Paloura Pond to transformer at tail end along with its few lanes involves a road area of about 4,600 square meters, is estimated to be completed at a cost of more than Rs. 18 lakh.
The black topping work was formally inaugurated by Chib in the presence of Dr. Raj Pal Hans, Om Parkash President Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Paloura, Ajmer Singh, Tarun Vaid and Virender Mehta besides a large number of residents of Dhok area. Chib said that the people across the nation and especially that of Jammu & Kashmir have become the worst victims of the wrong and anti-people policies of the incumbent BJP government at the centre.
The locals highlighted their woes on multiple issues including dilapidated roads, power and water supply besides sanitation problems in the area. Chib after listening to them keenly and patiently assured to take up the issues with the concerned authorities and get the same addressed at the earliest. |
