JAMMU, Nov 20: BJP leader Naryan Singh inaugurated Jammu & Kashmir's Super Seven cricket tournament held under the aegis of Super Seven Cricket Federation of India. The championship is being organized for boys U-23 age. Teams from Orissa, Karnataka , MP, UP, Rajasthan, Maharashtra,Vidharbha, Jharkhand, Bihar, HP are taking part in the championship. On the second day of championship Deputy Mayor Jammu Advocate Poornima Sharma tossed the coin and matches for the day started. Singh said that by organizing such championships especially for the youth of various states of India is a step towards making Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat. In the opening match, Rajasthan made 73 runs in alloted seven overs and J&K chased the target in 4.1 overs. Also Madhya Pradesh reached semi-final by beating NCR team. Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul who was on inspection of the stadium also congratulated J&K team for reaching semifinal. Tomorrow final shall be played and prize distribution shall be held.
