| NSS unit of GDC Samba organizes plantation drive | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 20: The NSS unit of GDC Samba inaugurated three days cleanliness cum plantation drive in the college campus under Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan.
The programme started with formal welcome address by Dr. Ram Singh, HOD, Education. Dr. Naveen Anand, Principal of the college encouraged the volunteers to plant more and more plants and take care of their plants as lifelong friends.
Seventy volunteers participated in the drive to make the college clean and green under the Swachhta Abhiyaan programme.
All the volunteers planted various flower plants in flower beds with great zeal showing their love towards the green initiative. The Principal emphasized that college students must be associated with the sapling they have planted and take care of that plant on daily basis. |
