JAMMU, Nov 29: A protest under the Presidentship of Akhil Sharma all casual labour workers of 23 divisions of Jammu province was organized in the office of MD JPDCL, PDD. The union raised the issue of seniority list of casual labourers which is not preparing combined with daily wagers, as the salary/wages of both category is drawn from the same head 364 whereas 3,862 are working as casual labourers and 1,320 are working as daily wagers, moreover in Kashmir Province MD KPDCL, PDD has prepared an combined seniority list of both category.
The Union has also discussed some burning issue i.e. pending wages of 30 months, 841 casual labourers working without salary in Jammu province. In this pretext All Jammu Province Casual Labourers Union has decided to take part in protest for 72 hours. |
