Jammu, Nov 29: The outreach programme intended to understand the difficulties being faced by the public in respect of Direct and Indirect taxes and to assist them in solving the problems and to motivate the youth to pay taxes organised by the IT Department and CGST. The aim of programme was to find out about the expectations of the people of the region from the forthcoming Union Budget and to make the public aware about the technological advancements made by the Government to increase transparency and ease of compliance and to provide better taxpayer’s service. As a part of this programme a “Tax payers’ Facilitation camp” is being organised following all the COVID safety protocol at Jammu. For all queries/grievances pertaining to Income Tax the camp will be at Aayakar Sewa Kendra, Aayakar Bhawan, Rail Head Complex, Panama Chowk Jammu on the following dates 30th November 2021, at ASK, Aayakar Bhawan, Jammu, on 1st December, 2021 ASK, Aayakar Bhawan, Jammu, For queries and grievances redressal pertaining to GST, Customs and Central Excise issues, GST team will be holding the camp at Taxpayer service Center of GST Commissionerate, OB 32,Rail Head Complex on 30/11/2021 TSC of GST Commissionerate, Rail Head Complex, Jammu, on 01/12/2021 at TSC of GST Commissionerate, Rail Head Complex, Jammu, Similar outreach programmes, interactive sessions and Tax payers’ facilitation camps will be held following all the COVID safety protocol in the next fortnight in all the districts of Jammu region. |
