JAMMU, Dec 2: The ongoing cricket tournament in Bardoh village of border Chhamb assembly constituency came to an end today. In the final Mile Di Khui defeated Bardoh's team to win the title.
Batting first, Bardoh's team scored 97 runs in the allotted overs. Mille Di Khui achieved the target in 10 overs. While felicitating the winning and runner-up team, Congress leader Bharat Priye said that the objective of this tournament is to promote sports talent of the youth and keep them away from drugs. If youth participate in sports, they can avoid getting caught in the clutches of drugs. There is no dearth of talent among the youth, he said.
Priye said that a person ruins his life by getting caught in the clutches of drugs. He causes misery for himself as well as his family. Therefore, youth should invest their power and potential in positive things and stay away from drugs. Always ready to promote sports talent of youth, he added. |
