| GDC Marh organizes Science quiz competition | | | 
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 2: Science Club, GDC Marh organized a Science quiz competition today under the patronship of Principal, Prof Aekta Gupta. Students of the college participated in the quiz with great zeal and enthusiasm. In the beginning lighting of lamp was done by Principal of the college and staff members to initiate the program. Welcome was delivered by Prof Shallu Gupta (HOD Computer). Principal in her key note address stressed upon the importance of such activities for all round development of students. Principal appreciated the efforts of members of Science Club. She encouraged Prof Hans Raj Sharma, Convener of the Club, Prof Ram Dayal, Quiz Master and Dr Balwinder Saini, scorer for organizing the event successfully and in a graceful manner. In his address, Prof Hans Raj Sharma, Convener Science Club, advised the students to participate in such activities in future also. Total four teams participated in the quiz i.e. Team A, B, C & D. Vishali, Khushboo and Kavishka Sharma (Team A) of Semester 1st were the winners of the quiz. Vote of thanks was given by Dr Shakun Sharma (HOD Sociology). The program was coordinated by Dr Balwinder Saini (HOD Chemistry). In the end, prize distribution was done among the winning team and consolation prizes were given to all participants. |
