| GDC Basohli celebrates International Day of Justice | | |

BASOHLI, Dec 2: Department of Geography, Government Degree College, Basohli organized an online lecture under the aegis of 75th “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav” on the occasion of International Day of Justice. The event was organized under the Patronage of the Principal, GDC Basohli, Dr Nidhi Kotwal. The event commenced with a welcome address and brief introduction by Prof. Pawan Kumar, HOD Geography. Advocate Puneet Kumari Attri, District Court Kathua was the resource person and she delivered a sermon on the topic “Social Justice in the Digital Economy”. She provided information about the International Court of Justice, and various laws and procedures during online court trials. She also highlighted fundamental rights and fundamental duties of the citizens etc. All the faculty members and 29 students participated in the event. The program ended with a formal vote of thanks by Dr RK Manhas. |
