Jammu, Dec 6: The NSS unit of Govt Degree College, R. S. Pura on Monday undertook a cleanliness drive in the village Pindi Sarochan as a part of ongoing Clean India Program under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a statement said. It said that about 30 NSS volunteers participated in the event. “They cleaned the streets, pathways and premises of Shiv Temple and Hara Peer Baba of the village, Pindi Sarochan. The work of NSS volunteers was appreciated by Rattan Lal, Panditji of Shiv temple and Jaintor of Hara Peer. The entire program was organized under the guidance of Prof Sunil Uppal and supervision of Prof Bindu Kumari, NSS Program Officer,” the statement added. |
