UDHAMPUR, Dec 6: Five days training programme for investigators on "Safety of Women" commenced at S K Police Academy Udhampur. 18 police officers from all over J&K are participating in the training programme. Mohan Lal, SSP, Deputy Director (Indoor) SKPA Udhampur formally inaugurated the course.
Lal laid stress to enhance professional competence of the investigating officers to investigate offences against women and children including cyber crime so that at the end of the day, the cases end in conviction. The course is designed to accommodate investigation skills and knowledge of latest provisions of law including POCSO, JJ Act, IT Act, etc.
Eminent speakers from academia and renowned cyber forensic experts shall be delivering lectures during the course. The course is being coordinated by Suraj Singh, DySP, AD (Trg./R&D) and Inspector Sanjeev Gupta, member faculty. |
