GDC Kathua organises symposium | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 6: On the 65th anniversary of Baba Sahib Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar, NSS units of GDC Kathua organised a symposium here on Monday, a statement said. It said that the programme was started with traditional lamp lightening. This day was celebrated as a Maha PariNirvana Diwas. The theme of the symposium was" Life Achievements of Baba Sahib Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar." Twenty seven volunteers took part in the symposium. Abhishek Singh, Alishea and Amisha Devi got first, second and third position in the competition. The other participants were acknowledged with consolation prizes. The event was judged by Prof (Dr) Rachna Devi, Department of Education, Prof(Dr) Kamaldeep Singh Head of Punjabi Department and Prof Isha Verma From Department of Hindi. On this occasion, NSS Programme officers Prof Manmohan Singh also throws light on the life achievements of Baba Sahib Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar. The programme was organised under the patronage of Incharge Principal and supervision of NSS Prog officer Prof Ritu Kumar Sharma. The proceedings of the programme was conducted by Prof Neha Bandral. |
