| Players forced to suffer due to ill planning & functioning of J&K Sports council: UTTA | | |

JAMMU, Dec 6: Today a delegation of District Udhampur Table Tennis Association, led by General Secretary Tarun Chauhan, called on Secretary Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council Nuzhat Gul at Jammu. Chauhan submitted a memorandum regarding the problems being faced by the players.
In the memorandum it has been said that in the past few days a coaching center of Khelo India table tennis opened at Tehsil Ramnagar, of Udhampur district was given by the Central Government and the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council but the center was most required & needed at Subash Stadium Indoor Hall Udhampur.
Tarun said that 70-80 players practice in Udhampur indoor hall and 10-15 players practice in Ramnagar adding that players of Udhampur representing J&K at national level every year but they have not been given coach. |
